Terms of Use – Sabiá

1. About the application

Sabiá is an educational application designed for elementary school children, developed by Pixelwolf Technology. It offers interactive pedagogical activities with artificial intelligence, always under the supervision of a responsible adult.

2. Acceptance of terms

By using Sabiá, you declare that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms of Use. The use of the application by minors must be authorized and supervised by a legal guardian.

3. Registration and profiles

To use Sabiá, it is necessary to create a profile for the child, providing their nickname, age, school year and preferences. Each profile is individual and can be managed by a guardian.

4. Permitted use

Sabiá should be used only for educational purposes and cannot be used for illegal, offensive practices or that violate these Terms. It is not permitted to attempt to bypass security mechanisms or access restricted features without permission.

5. Subscriptions and paid plans

Some Sabiá features may be offered through subscription. Payments and cancellations are managed directly by your device's app store (App Store or Google Play), following each platform's rules.

You can cancel automatic renewal at any time by accessing your device settings:

iOS (Apple)

  • On device (phone or tablet): Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions
  • Within the app: "Manage Subscription" button, which opens Apple's subscriptions screen.

Android (Google)

  • On device (phone or tablet): Google Play > Menu > Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions

Sabiá offers two subscription plans with monthly and yearly options:

Essential
  • Basic personalized recommendations
  • Unlimited access to chat.
  • Homework help through photos (OCR).
  • Text-to-speech and voice commands
  • Activity photos with automatic recognition
Premium
  • All features from the Essential plan
  • Up to 4 child profiles, each with their own history and recommendations
  • Privileged access to Sabiá innovations
  • Priority support

6. Responsibility of legal guardians

The use of the application by children is the full responsibility of the responsible adult, who must:

  • Review the data provided during registration
  • Monitor app usage
  • Ensure that content is age-appropriate

7. Protection of sensitive areas

Features such as forms, feedback, plans and external links are accessible only via parental gate, with simple challenges (e.g. addition or logical operation). This ensures that only adults can access these areas.

8. Intellectual property

All Sabiá content — including texts, images, characters, mascots, interface and functionalities — belongs to Pixelwolf and cannot be copied, altered or distributed without authorization.

9. Updates and interruptions

Pixelwolf may perform updates for improvements or corrections. The application may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance.

These terms follow Brazilian legislation. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Curitiba – PR.

12. iOS-specific terms (Apple)

For users who downloaded Sabiá through Apple's App Store, the following terms also apply:

Acknowledgement: You and the End-User acknowledge that this License Agreement is concluded between You and the End-User only, and not with Apple, and that Pixelwolf, not Apple, is solely responsible for the Sabiá application and its content.

Scope of License: The license granted to the End-User for Sabiá is limited to a non-transferable license to use the application on any Apple-branded products that the End-User owns or controls and as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. The application may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with the purchaser via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.

Maintenance and Support: Pixelwolf is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services with respect to Sabiá. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the application.

Warranty: Pixelwolf is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of Sabiá to conform to any applicable warranty, the End-User may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the application to that End-User. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to Sabiá.

Product Claims: Pixelwolf, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims of the End-User or any third party relating to Sabiá, including but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the application fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.

Intellectual Property: In the event of any third party claim that Sabiá infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Pixelwolf, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim.

Legal Compliance: The End-User represents and warrants that (i) he/she is not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a 'terrorist supporting' country; and (ii) he/she is not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Third Party Terms: The End-User must comply with applicable third party terms of agreement when using Sabiá.

Third Party Beneficiary: You and the End-User acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third party beneficiaries of this License Agreement, and that, upon the End-User's acceptance of the terms and conditions of this License Agreement, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this License Agreement against the End-User as a third party beneficiary thereof.
