Privacy Policy – Sabiá Platform

1. Who we are

Sabiá is an educational platform developed by Pixelwolf, with the purpose of providing a safe, interactive learning experience aligned with BNCC for children aged 7 to 12.

2. What data we collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide a safe and personalized user experience. These are:

  • Child's nickname (we do not request full name)
  • School year and approximate age
  • Educational interactions with AI (responses, errors, suggestions)
  • Device technical information (model, operating system, connection type)
  • Images of exercises sent by the child, with the objective of helping with task resolution

Important: Images may accidentally contain identifiable data (such as the child's name in the notebook, school name, face, etc.). Sabiá does not use this information for any purpose other than educational, nor does it permanently store these files.

3. How we use the data

Data is used to:

  • Adapt content according to the child's age and school year
  • Provide contextual pedagogical help, including based on exercise photos
  • Generate reports for guardians about platform usage
  • Improve the product experience and security based on usage patterns

Sabiá uses providers like OpenAI to process educational content from interactions, never sending personally identifiable information (PII) of the child.

4. Guardian consent

The child can only use Sabiá with the prior consent of a legal guardian.

Consent is requested on first use and can be revoked at any time through the control panel or contact email. It covers:

  • Creation of the child's profile
  • Use of AI for pedagogical interactions
  • Sending and processing of images for school purposes

We recommend that guardians guide children not to send images with visible faces or personal information.

5. Storage and retention time

All data is stored on secure and encrypted servers.

We retain data for up to 12 months after account deletion, exclusively for:

  • Security audit and investigation of misuse
  • Possibility of account restoration upon guardian's request
  • Aggregated and anonymized analysis for product improvement

After this period, data is anonymized or permanently deleted.

6. Data sharing

Sabiá does not share data with third parties for commercial purposes.

Service providers with technical access to data (such as servers, databases, or educational AI) are contractually obligated to comply with LGPD guidelines and do not use the information for any other purpose.

7. Information security

We adopt various measures to protect the child's data:

  • Data encryption in transit and at rest
  • Access control with authentication and permission levels
  • Activity logs and monitoring of unauthorized access attempts
  • Periodic risk assessment and security testing

8. Legal guardian rights

The guardian can, at any time:

  • Confirm if there is data processing
  • Access or correct the child's data
  • Request deletion or anonymization
  • Revoke given consent

9. Updates to this policy
